Whenever I see the
news which reported the typhoon Morakot crashed into Taiwan, triggering
many torrential rains in short term, it strike
me that many residents’ communities was swallowed up by mudslides and landfall.
The main reason why I think of the catastrophe that occur in south of part
where it mostly located in Kaohsiung and Pingtung is that climate change caused
the rainfall concentrated in the same region even more than one-year mount.
Morakot not only lashed out our island on August 8 but also demolished our
cities, villages and home. In other words, we face a terrible situation in this
summer.
Philanthropy plays an
important role in the rescue process that offered lots of materials include
instant noodles, bread, even they organized a team, helping ministry department
to save the refugees. Partly with internet to amalgamate the network users to
deliver messages who the victims need us to give a hand, partly with television
programs that continually reported the news that the communities of mountain area
was pummeled by monstrous mudslides and rushed floods. Social citizen had
devoted their own, for an example, they are generous to dedicate their money,
buying any goods that aid people, dwell in restricted district, cushion their
pain. Meanwhile use the plurk or twitter, a micro-log that it fast transfers a
message to anywhere in Taiwan, users produce notes for aggregate materials and
volunteers. However, it is a pity that the bureaucrat did not prepare any
antidotes when the uncounted numbers of landslides were rushing from the peak,
even the military could not arrive to the region at first to release residents
who stick under the building. Can you imaging the relations as like an ant in
hot pan worried their children or parent still have breath? Based upon these
reason, we should independently organize a group, which can offer any relief in
Nature disaster.
As long as we do
our best to diffuse our charity for them, a wonderful world is approaching us.
