it's the simplest things in life that make us smile (:
like,
the first smile on a new-born,
or maybe
the way your bare soles touch wooden floors
or
the crunch, both sound and taste of an apple,
very cheesy, I know,
and yet so true.
simple things,
like how good water tastes sometimes,
and how you sit up in the morning,
you know you're awake and yet you lie in bed
and think about the people that love you
and you just feel really really blessed,
and I thank god for that,
it's the little things that make life a little bit more bearable.
the title is 聽說 because that's what I'm watching right now,

like I said, the simple things.
being a mother,
must be really difficult.
when I grow up, I think
jobs like being a lawyer, or a doctor or being something really big and hard,
oh, a vet. (apparently being a vet is even harder to achieve than a doctor)
well, all of those jobs are easy compared to being a mother
a parent in general,

I don't want to have to care anymore,
yesterday we had yong tau fu for lunch
made me miss singapore so much
the cold hard floors,
nai nai's tiles, blue and white,
the kitchen, the soles of my feet want to touch those old blue tiles,
and then, there are the birds twittering
the texture of the cushions,
having breakfast in the living room while watching cartoons,
watching singaporean tv dramas until 12 :)
shopping on orchard street
the very very hot guys LOL
singlish- but I have sean chew for that,
zara, all the hawker center food, the church where I got baptized, all of the shopping malls,
takashimaya with the water fountain
there's burger king- good memories
there's chinese garden mrt stations which reminds me of the MRT in general.

we should all watch it together,
today, I helped my mom figure out what eggplant in japanese was,
I had to use google translate
and then find out what the words on the packet meant
so I like, used the japanese palette and actually went to find each and every character
