you know you're sick when:

- your parents request that you put on a mask
- you get a glass of water and it just doesn't taste the same
- the thermometer says that you have a fever
- your mother starts spazzing and screaming at you
- you cancel all of your classes
- you decide that sleeping might not sound like such a bad idea
- you text your friends in bed
- you eat a bowl of porridge and add a spoonful of soya sauce and yet it doesn't taste salty at all
- your head pounds every time you sit up
- you cough so hard it feels like you're working your abs
- pain becomes a very sweet sweet thing
- you feel cold
- your siblings serve you like a queen
- your hands are warm for the first time
