An official in Wanyuan, Sichuan province, is alleged to have had long-term sexual relations with a female subordinate and is under investigation by the local anti-corruption agency, Chengdu Commercial Daily reported on Tuesday.
Wang Yuanzong, of the city's ethnic and religious affairs bureau, was named in an online post on May 16.
The post said Wang had been caught in bed with the woman on the night of May 14, and there were recordings to prove his behavior.
The city's anti-corruption agency said it has begun an investigation of the official and will announce the result publicly as soon as possible.
