R&B hunk lets us in on his girl-wooing tactics

The dim media conference room in Four Seasons Hotel was lit with candles of various sizes and colours.

According to the star of the evening, these candles put him in a romantic mood. He refers to the MTV of his new hit, One And Only (Wei Yi), it is filmed in a room full of candles as well.

A self-proclaimed romantic at heart, Lee Hom intones, here a thin line between being romantic and being disgusting. You got to be careful,thus lightening the relatively serious atmosphere with humour.

And how does the popular singer express this side to him.Simple, through the thing he knows and loves best music.

Romance gives you a feeling the same as music does. A composer must first be able to be moved by his music before he can touch others with it.And he is one who does what he preaches.

At the tender age of 13, during his Junior High schooldays, this Prince Charming gave his first self-penned song to a classmate.

I dare not tell her then and I thought sending love letters is too common, so I sent her a self written love song instead.And it worked! It was one of the reasons I entered this field,says the talented songwriter.

Regardless of whether the last comment is meant as a joke or not, there is no doubting the talent in this young man.


This die-hard romantic who can be put into a romantic mood by good atmosphere, food, friends and music uses music to record his life.
Life is eventful, I have met many people, been to various places, its a shame not to put all these down.And so he has a song to denote each love relationship.

Sometimes, the songs I write could be subconsciously be based on my own stories. Like One And Only. I only realised later that it actually reflected a past long-distance love of mine.

All relationships are unforgettable. First love may not be true love; it may only be a spur-of-the-moment thing during puberty but nevertheless, they are all unforgettable.All his female fans must be swooning by now.
