A breath of fresh air. That is how I can describe my thought of Lee Hom after meeting him during his promo tour in Malaysia from September 9 to 11.
And he does not limit his talent to just composing, producing and arranging music. He has already completed two movies, scheduled to be release somewhere in early 2001.
His first movie China Strike Force is directed by Stanley Tong, an action movie where he plays Alex, a cop. Cast include Grammy Award-winning rapper Coolio and Japanese actress Norika Fujiwara
Tekken is his second movie. A science-fiction-action movie that is based on the Sony Playstation kung-fu game, he plays the character Feng Jian Ren . Directed by Yuan Kuei of Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh fame.
He recently sealed his clean image by participating in Leslie Cheung's movie Wu Yan Cao which is part of the Hong Kong government's anti-smoking campaign. We may get to see it here as the movie is plan to be shown in schools across Asia.
Lee Hom claimed that being on the movie set all day surrounded by creative minds keeps him inspired and in the mood to compose!

Autograph Sessions
In Kuching, Sarawak, Lee Hom met up with the fans in Dewan Suarah while the venue for Penang & Ipoh, Perak were held in Bukit Jambul and Kinta City respectively.
The best crowd has to be in the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Held in Lot 10, fans had started gathering as early as half pass ten in the morning.
Press Conference
Dressed in the exact outfit as the cover of his latest offering, Lee Hom look relax even after all that travelling when he attended the press conference held in Sunway Resort Hotel, Selangor.
Very obliging to the press. I'm pretty sure most of the journalists were fans too. Who else would sacrifice a Sunday morning?

Showcase
"Lee Hom! Lee Hom! Lee Hom!" fans roared in anticipation as the clock drew closer to half pass eight.
Performing for a maximum capacity crowd of five thousands, Lee Hom sang and played games with a few lucky fans. And unprepared they were not as they sang along with him waving banners and luminous lights.
