聖誕節過後，才看了「北極特快車」。這部片最大的賣點，大概就是全世界第一部真人演出，然後用動畫修片的數位電影，算是電影拍攝方式的大突破吧。裡面有許多不可思議，天馬行空，不能用普通邏輯來看待的事件，就是一部充滿幻想的聖誕節應景片。
片中的小男孩是個小小的懷疑論者，喜歡說「Are you sure」？不相信聖誕老人的存在，直到搭上了Polar Express到北極去，才找回了屬於他的童稚之心。強調的是「believing」的重要性。
我相信聖誕老人嗎？以前相信，而且覺得是因為我的襪子太小，家裡又沒有煙囪，所以聖誕老人沒辦法來送禮物。現在不信，所以我也聽不到那個鈴聲了。
電影裡的兩個小朋友唱的那首很可愛的《When Christmas comes to town》，有一句歌詞唱著「All the things I've heard about, but never really see」，正是小男孩心中的懷疑。可是我不太信「Seeing is believing」這句話，就跟電影裡面要傳達的意念一樣，覺得「Believing is seeing」，只要我相信的東西，就有可能是存在的。
所以我相信Josh Groban唱的主題曲《Believe》。
