< Waterdrops>

ZHANG Wei-long

 

化一顆水珠

Transformed into a waterdrop

驕陽不必過分熱情

Required not too much passionate warmth from the proud sun

予我晶瑩

Just making me crystal-clear

光耀短暫生命即可

with its radiating  shine only  lightening the short lived life

 

大千世界不必多刺

There's no need to grow many thorns like roses in the boundless universe of the big  kaleidoscopic world

珠圓，多情眼眸

As round as pearly beads, with eyes sparkling plenty of emotions

玉潤，溫婉一生

As smooth n' sweet as jade, living  a lifetime of gentleness and good n' mild nature

當綠葉載不住水溶溶的我

The evergreen leaves unable to carry the weight of the watery me

我毅然決然的滾落

they're rolling down with perseverance n' determination

 

化一點清涼

turning into a little bit of fresh coolness

潤花草樹木

to have nourish flowers grasses and plants n' trees

前世今生邂逅的情愫

with the feelings of the previous life encountering serendipitously with this life
