It is important for designers to be critical and to welcome critics. Good designers challenge conventions, authorities, and everyday things in order to make improvements; on the other hand, they revel in the challenges from others. Never accept things the way they are. Any inconvenience and mistake in life and anything that upsets people may provide precious opportunities for creative solutions. Keep asking questions, one after another, to search for the root of these problems. The answers may be around the corner. Only persistent seekers will find them. On finding ingenious ideas, everyone expects compliments from others; however, critics are more helpful than flattering in refining any smart plan. Through discussions, or debates, designers not only develop better plans, but get to polish the skills to persuade their supervisors, clients, and prospective customers.
