為了奮戰到最後，這一次阿格西打了好幾針止痛針，雖然最後他還是敵過不身體的痛輸球了，但整個場面是屬於阿格西的，因為她接受了全場球迷的最後歡呼，也正式告別了他的職業生涯
80年代末期崛起的山普拉斯、阿格西、張德培跟柯瑞爾都走入了歷史，阿格西也許不是其中最有天分的一位，但是他獨特的個性魅力以及永遠不放棄的精神是擄獲球迷的秘密武器。
題外話，對於今天戰勝阿格西的貝克，他的心情應該是相當的複雜吧！有種雀躍中又戴著一股淡淡的惋惜
