Chapter Two
Devils threat
On the early morning of one day .Josh Black, the police chief, my bosom friend called me in a hurry said that there is a series of murders trouble him so far these weeks and he asked for my help. Ah-ha, I have never accepted any cases after London Bridge Event .Thank to the event. I became more famous as a unknown detective who lives in the devious suburb of London, although it didn’t bring any physical benefit to me. In the past one month .I just stay stayed in my bed-room to continue writing biography for my father who put all his spirit on inventions all his life time.
As heard about Josh’s news. I went out of my house instinctively. Now, I am in the car to the butcher house which located in Victorial Avenue .I looked though the window: everything was the same, the gloomy sky, the nipping wind, the tomb-like houses. All the scenes I saw confused me. I am afraid that I am in Grey Britain, not Great Britain.
I can smell the death surround this place when I get off the car.
“Ha-ha, is this our great detective?”
As of old, Josh likes to satirise me.
“Without brave Josh, great detective should dead thousand of times.”
I raise my hat in salutation .No more time for joking. Josh leads me to the crime scene. At the same time reports me of the series of murder.
“Buddy, it’s the most horrible case I’ve ever deal with .In the past two weeks. As we known ,fifteen women were killed. Oh, not, include this one, sixteen. Most of them are harlots. All the victims were cut into pieces and put into gunny.” I can see the density on my old friend’s face.
“Here we are.” Josh says, there are some coroners in white in my eyesight, they’re trying to find some clues from the gunny and those pieces of body. The dense odour makes me hard to breathe. I can feel there’s something writhe in my stomach. You can’t imagine how could a human do such cruel thing ,no one can barely recognise who she in.
“Only devil could do it.” I say with furious voice.
“I agree with you, we also can not find out fingerprints.”
I know, this is must be a challenge from killer to us, a treat from devil to us.
