哥哥首次交換學生之旅 ~ Day 4 CAIS+Ghirardelli Square+掉牙記

Day 4  2014/04/28

First day of school for the Ren-Ai kids today. I went to wake Eason & Ethan &

Sydon up at 6:15am but it wasn't till 6:30am that they came downstairs. Breakfast

 was scramble eggs, string cheese, fruits and..... .

今天哥哥第一天去學校上學，一大早約6:15am起床，大約到6:30am家中的三

個孩子才準備好下樓吃早餐，今天的早餐是.....

cereal. I noticed that Eason is not too keen on cereal. Hmm... maybe we should

do more toast next time.Anyway we left for school at 7:15am. I would normally

just drop the kids off but as I'm bringing in snacks for the Ren-Ai kids, I needed

 to park. Found a parking space not far from school. Yeah!

 ㄟ~~沒想到，哥哥居然不愛吃cereal! 以前小時候上學可愛吃的呢?! 厚~~開

始挑食囉~~7:15am就到校了!



Some snacks. Someone made mini apple pies!  There were some fruits that

came later.

哇! Home媽幫仁愛的小朋友也有每天準備小點心耶~so sweet!



All the kids played at the playground till 7:55am before the CAIS kids lined up to

go to classroom and the Ren-Ai kids go to their meeting room. Everyone seemed

to be in good spirits.

仁愛的孩子們一到校就到操場玩，7:55am就到會議室集合，你看! 每個孩子的

精神都很不錯的呢!!



Ren-Ai only has 3 teachers chaperoning 36 kids.

認真看一下!哇!仁愛的孩子還不錯都沒拿出手機玩耶!!這樣...有乖~

I pick up the kids at 4pm. Eason joined Ethan at his music ensemble today.

We went straight to Ghirardelli Square where you can still see the famous

SF chocolate being produced.

今天因為buddy有小型音樂表演，所以，Home媽四點帶哥哥去和buddy匯

合。接著就去"葛拉德禮巧克力工廠"，在這裡可以清楚看到巧克力的製作過程



The square is located near the bay so you get a beautiful view of the water

and Alcatraz. Eason is so excited about Rusty that he offered to hold him

all the time.

站在這工廠前的廣場向後看，可看到一處美麗的港灣及惡魔島的景色。哥哥

超喜歡和狗狗一起玩，這下子我那重感情的兒子要離開美國時，一定超懷念

狗狗的......



Ah... warm sun makes me sleepy...

應該是有些時差了....在這溫暖的陽光下一躺下來，不知不覺就好想睡囉~~

不過，我家哥哥只要一聽到"吃"的，眼睛一定會馬上亮起來的!!!



At the Ghirardelli Square with the fountain centerpiece. Eason hasn't found a

cap he likes yet so he's wearing one of the boy's.

"葛拉德禮巧克力工廠"前的噴水池。哥哥還沒看到他喜歡的遮陽帽(厚~真是

囉唆~)，謝謝兩位buddy願意借一頂給他戴!



Here is where the machine stirs the chocolate.

工廠內攪拌巧克力的機器。



And here is where they serve the ice cream. Kind of like the old fashioned 60's cafe.

他最期待的時刻來囉~~冰淇淋!!還是他最愛吃的巧克力冰淇淋!!



Let's look at the menu. They all looked too tempting.

看到這menu，媽媽我也忍不住想吃了耶!! (人家我也要去啦!!)

Eason ordered Mint Bliss which is mint chocolate chips ice cream with chocolate

fudge, whipped cream and a chocolate square. Sydon ordered Chrissy field which

 is 3 scoops of ice cream with fudge and whipped cream and 3 mini squares. We

all had enough calories for the week!

哥哥選了一個"薄荷巧克力"口味的....(阿不是和昨天一樣的口味?! --右圖)buddy

的哥哥點了一個聖代，有三球冰+三片薄荷巧克力+讓人無法抵擋的奶油....

這個看起來就是好吃!!

Here we go! Eason's favourite flavor is mint.

開動囉!!



Half way through, Eason split out something hard. It was his tooth!!  OMG!

Luckly I always have my medical bag with me so he had some cotton wool to s

top bleeding. Can you see his tooth?

吃到一半，哥哥突然聽到"蹦"一聲，是從嘴裡發出的聲音....沒錯! 是他的牙齒掉了!!

(兒子，請原諒我笑得很大聲) 好在home媽隨身有帶止血的棉花。我只能說.....

兒子，你那顆牙的國籍是美國的，留好，太珍貴的一顆牙! (美國是屬地主義的)



We all came home for dinner.

回家吃晚餐囉~~

After dinner is homework time. All three were good in doing their homework.

用完晚餐後，就是"寫功課時間"，三個孩子很認真的拿出功課來寫!

哇! 看到我家哥哥在美國自動的寫"圈詞"，這讓我真的太感動了!!!



See how focused they are....

專心的咧......我就說吧! 孩子給人家管，一定是對的!!



Eason finished his homework first so he got to play bubbles with Rusty.

哥哥在出國前就已安排自己每天寫15個圈詞，為了能和狗狗一起玩，我想

，他寫功課的速度一定飆得很快!! 



And enjoy 2 episode of Phineas and Ferb. Ethan didn't finish his homework

 till 10pm so it was lights off at 10:20pm. Good night and sleep tight boys. 

It's now 10:35 pm and Sydon is still going... 加油！

接著看了兩集的卡通，大夥約10:20pm就上床睡覺，只有buddy的哥哥還在繼

續寫~~so poor~~



咳咳咳~~小子，你這坐姿也太....可不可以不要這樣隨便.... (整個頭暈)
