Hello Jason,
I hope you are enjoying your holidays.
Have you started practising your musical instruments again?
Last Sunday I went to our annual State Fair with Maddy.
It is known as the Exhibition or the Ekka for short.
Have a look at the website for more information –
www.ekka.com.auHave you been watching much of the Olympics on television?
It is very popular here in Australia as we cheer our athletes.
Have you drunk all the Golden Circle cordial yet? Does your family like it?
Take care. Tim

Dear Jason
Hope you are well and enjoying being back with your family. We miss you here and enjoyed having you live with us. My work is going well. Half way through the term – 5 weeks till holidays again for me. This Friday, I will be flying to Sydney to learn how QANTAS trains their cabin crew and various other aspects of QANTAS. This will help me with my teaching at my school –Aviation High School.
Last week-end, Tim and I (and some other friends) went to a trivia night. See photo attached of Tim and I. It was fancy dress and our table was themed the Olympics. We dressed as Greeks – founding the Olympics. I made togas for both of us. Our table won the best dressed table and won free movie tickets.
Have you played pictionary with your family or friends yet? Still practicing with the chop sticks that you gave us! I will get Tim and Harry to finish eating a meal with them soon.
Just came back for a walk/run with Tim. My big run is on Sunday 7 September – 10km. This has been my goal since I had my knee operated on last November. My doctor said I should be able to finish the race – mixture of running and walking.
Hope you are still enjoying your holidays and remembering your time here in Australia.
Love
Denise

Dear Jason
We all miss you here!!
We had a new girl start in class this week. Her name is Samantha.
I haven’t really got to know her yet.
Are you still on holidays?
Only a couple of more weeks until my birthday on 28 August.
I am very excited about what presents Mum & Dad might buy for me.
I am having a birthday party with the girls in my class.
We are going to the local roller skating centre.
On Monday of this week I participated in a Volleyball competition at the High School.
There were children from two other local primary schools there.
The best part was our team won the competition!
It was great fun. I think the practising we did together in the backyard at home must have helped.
From Maddy
Hi Jason
Today is a holiday here in Brisbane so we didn’t have to go to school and Mum and Dad did not have to go to work.
The holiday is for the Fair that Dad talked about. Whilst Mum and Dad have to go to work tomorrow, Maddy and I have another holiday – very lucky.
Like usual I just played computer games most of the day. I bought a new game last weekend called ‘Oblivion’. I really like it.
Last Sunday night I played basketball as usually, but this time we won! I think I played pretty well – Mum and Dad said so anyway.
Hope you’re having a good time in Taiwan on your holidays. Have you been doing anything special like going to the movies?
This Saturday afternoon Naithan is having a Birthday Party. We are going to play a game of Laser Skirmish at this place
http://www.mangohillskirmish.com/ it should be really cool. Chris and Timmy are going as well.
I’m trying not to quarrel with Maddy too much. Bye for now.
From Harry.
