My Summer

這篇短文是昨天開學,老師要我們寫的,寫完後,我還要賈新幫我改一下,今天老師要三個志願者唸出來,果然老師就叫我當第一個志願者,因為我坐在第一排!

I was an elementary school teacher. Therefore, my summer vacation usually starts on July 1 and ends on August 29. However, this year was not like before. Due to a visa issue, I needed to get into the States before June 5. Therefore, I decided to quit my job and came here to stay with my husband. So, my summer started one month earilier than usual.
Life here is quiet and calm. I stay at home most of time during weekdays when my husband goes to work. During the weekend, my husband and I would spend a day to go hiking. Both of us want to lose some weight. The other day, we will need to go to grocery stores to buy the next week’s food and stuff we need.Besides, we also like to try some delicious dishes at some restaurants.
One more thing I would like to mention is about the cool and dry weather here during summer time comparing the hot and humid one in Taiwan.I enjoy the comfortable weather here very much.
