內容是1915年英國與澳紐聯軍攻打土耳其加里波利戰役。片中澳洲爸爸是找水源師與兒子們感情深厚。很不幸三個兒子都死於這戰爭中於是媽媽得了憂鬱症4年後投水自殺也走了。
一無所有的爸爸就前往伊斯坦堡找尋兒子死亡真相遇見美麗民宿女主人經歷一番波折後展開新人生。
