麻木中帶點興奮與不安..

henry befan to run down the srairs to the first floor where he saw an open door.but before he could reach it,one of his feet caught in something soft and he fell down,which felt like a bundle of clothes.he picked it up to protect his face from the smoke and heat.his feet burned him terribly,but he got through .as he reached the cold air outside,his bundle of clothes clothes gave a thin cry.henry nearly dropped it in his sruprise.then he saw a crowd gathered in the street.a woman in a night dress and a borrowed man’s coat scrsamed as she saw him and came running madly.”my baby!my baby!”she cried.the crowd cheered wildly as she took the smoke-blackened bundle out of henry’s arms.
