Camp(9/3,4,5) was heaps fun. (and I still can’t believe that I’m already back at home, everything just happened so fast..)
a bit sad now that it’s over, and we don’t get another chance to go camping again in our high school life.
so many people were happy and cheerful that it has come to an end, but I feel sad and a bit empty.
The teachers of this year was great and brilliant.
there were Mrs. Marr, Mr. Rowe, Mr. Farrelly, Mr. Bird, Mrs Moody, etcetc
here’ the activities that we did at the 3-day camp.
1. Grass Golf(Bird), 2. Giant Swing(Singleton), 3. Raft Building(Marr), 4. Archery(Peinke), 5. Blue Gum Challenge(Rowe), 6. Indoor climbing(Bird), 7. Flying Fox(Bird), 8. Trust(Farrelly) and 9. Abseiling(Marr).
The first day we arrived Warrawee at about 10ish, then we settled in our cabins. My cabin was with Kate H, Sophia K, Justine H, Clara Y, Stephanie C, Elizabeth E, AnnaMaria D, Fiona W, Morgan N, Nikki H and Jaclyn B. The cabin was called Warrina. Then we have morning tea(fruit & biscuits) at 10:30, 1st activity(Golf) was from 11:00-12:30 then we have lunch(hamburgers/fruits); 1:30 the 2nd activ.(G.Swing) till 3:00, afternoon tea(cake), 3:15 the 3rd activ.(raft) till 4:45, then we have free time until 6:15 dinner(crumbed chicken schnitzel, tossed salad & chips; fruit salad & ice cream for dessert), 7:15 we had chapel service(while other people were having the chapel service, me, kate, fiona, clara, steph, am and nikki were in the kitchen washing the dishes>O< and tell you what, it’s not easy at all, the dishes were endlessss!!) after the dishes, (approx. 8:00)the night activities were ON. there were camp fire, line-dancing, and star sighting, of course we went to the dancing activ. it was real fun>.
The breakfast(cereals, toast, juice sausage, hashbrown & spaghetti) of second day was to be served at 7:30, then assemble for the 4th activ.(Archery) at 8:50, we came back at 10:30 for morning tea(fruits and biscuits) then we moved out again at 10:50 for the 6th activ.(blue gum chlng). Came back at 12:30 for lunch(crispy chicken burger/fruits), then at 1:30, we moved out for the 6th activ.(indoor climbing) back at 3:00 for afternoon tea(honey cake), 15min later, assemble for activ. 7(flying fox) returned at 4:45, then free time till 6:15 ,then we had dinner(roast beef, roast potatoes, vegies & gravy; apple crumble & ice cream for dessert) after dinner, we went to the dance party. till 9:15 we went to the restaurant because apparently someone sent something to a person that shouldn’t be send to. then we went to bed at about 9:50. of course we talked again, because it was that last night of camping.
We had breakfast(cereals, toast, juice, scrambeld eggs & bacon) at 7:00 the 3rd day. assembled at 8:35 for the 8th activ.(trust) then went back at 10:00 for morning tea(fresh fruits and biscuits) then went to the last activ.(abseil) at 10:30. return at 12:00 for lunch(hot dogs/fresh fruits)...then at 1:30, we leave the camp site, Warrawee.
I still can’t believe that his has come to an end....
