Wayne, a passionate biker with a big heart, rode his bike from Chipley, FL to San Diego, CA to raise money for the Cancer Association. In March, 2009, with his wife and son driving a car as backups, Wayne finished the trip in 18 days. In order to save money, the whole family ate only toasted bread and stayed in local churches at night. They were very touched by the people who helped them along the way. Thus, they are very empathic to cyclists and willing to give bikers a hand whenever possible. Wayne helped arrange a stay in a church hostel for the night. The following day, I took the chance to do some maintenance on our bikes to ensure they were in a good shape. Later, we met Wayne and his wife for dinner at the church. She is a Chinese, she cooked a lot of delicious dishes to fill our stomachs. Yum-yum, a taste of home in the USA! We shared our biking experiences with each other - impressive and unforgettable.
Because of the care of Wayne’s coworker, we had the chance to meet Wayne’s family. Because of Wayne and his family's care, we were well treated in Chipley. We started as strangers, but in a short time we have becomes friends. Another example of how hope, care, and love can spread everywhere in the world. Peace to the world!

若沒有自行攜帶小筆電，圖書館也提供免費的電腦供人使用，若沒有圖書證，也可憑有照片的證件登記，免費使用網路資源．唯一美中不足，圖書館內的電腦大多無中文系統，不能自行安裝或是變更電腦的設定，無法輸入中文，若是老舊的電腦則無法閱讀網路的中文．只是兩個人搶著要上網的時候，圖書館的電腦還是蠻管用的，只能讀英文，也比不能上網好，最少還能回覆電子郵件．有些神奇的事情，也發生在圖書館上網的時候．
有位白髮的中年人，很熱情地跑來問我們許多的問題，他叫Wayne很愛騎單車.
聽了我們的單車旅行，滿腔熱血，幫我們打電話問教會的牧師，安排教會的空房間讓我們住宿，
他們說，這些房間是預備給外地來的牧者住宿，平時沒有人住，上次他們家裡的空調故障，也來借宿了幾天．
更特別的事，他的太太是中國人．預計五點半一起到教會跟我們碰面．

全家每天啃白吐司為要節省經費！過程中許多人幫助他們！讓他們非常感動！
每天他們到教會找住宿，有的教會沒有住宿的地方，就有幾位老人家出錢讓他們去住旅館！
到了荒郊野外沒有人的地方，當天非常寒冷Wayne幾乎要凍傷，他們找到一間房子去敲門，沒有人回應，後來有一部車子經過是屋主，後來邀請他們回家過夜！，，
所以當他們遇到有人騎單車，他們幾乎都會邀請接待他們！
Wayne一家人在教會與我們共度豐盛的晚餐，
他的太太還特地下廚煮很多中國菜給我們吃，還燉了一鍋褒湯給我們補身體！
我們聊很多彼此的旅行經驗，它們的確讓我們的生命中留下深刻的印記！
我們後來才知道Wayne到圖書館，是因為他的同事告訴他有兩位亞洲人在圖書館，
(因為他的妻子是亞洲人，當地華人不多)，問他是否要去關心一下！
而且圖書館的方向與他們家是反方向，平常他也很少到圖書館！
Wayne的同事,牽起了這次的聚會.
而我們因為單車旅行串起這了這份愛,
願我們能一起傳遞這份陌生的愛,
直到世上的每個角落.
