The half-empty/half-full glass analogy

明天要做Financial Reporting Theory的presentation，昨晚在看書，在書中發現了英文版的「半杯水」的道理。

“(They are often illustrated by use of) the half-empty/half-full glass analogy where a pessimist regards a glass as half empty and an optimist regards the same glass as half full.”

The 5th to 7th lines of Page 384, Chapter 11 Behavioural research in Accounting. ”Accounting Theory”, Jane Godfrey, Allan Hodgson, Scott Holmes(GHH), published by John Wiley & Sons, 5th edition, 2003, pp.762.

想不到在沉悶的教科書裡也可以發掘到半杯水的道理。
