hahahah so im in taiwan lol :)
spent all yesterday sleeping. on the car, plane, car. slept through it ALL.
and then i watched coraline with my bro at midnight in my room ;) hehee it was pretty creepy. but cool:) i liked the book :) and the movie was pretty similar, so that was good:)
today i woke up at 12 heehee lol
managed to finish ch. 27 of apush.. need to get IRP book.
anyway, later me and my parents went shopping. without my bro. but its amazing cause we got the most stuff for him, even though he wasn't with us. we got so carried away we were almost late for our family dinner.
family dinner was great lol, but the fun part comes afterwards
after we (me, my bro, and my cousins, ) all got our hongbaos, we played a betting game with grandpa LOL it was SO FUN but i was reallly unlucky
oh and we did go crazy lol
players: me, bro, alex (older cousin, 19 years), henry (younger cousin 11 years), channey (older cousin 22 years).
alll against grandpa (and each other)
game rules: players each pay 200 NT to get 20 tokens to start off with. grandpa lays cards ace-6 on the table.
we each then place a bet with tokens, and put it on any number card. grandpa then rolls the dice (there's 3) and whichever number he rolls on, those who have placed a bet on that number card wins the number of tokens they put down (so if you put down 2 tokens, you get 4 tokens back: your original bet, plus the 2 tokens you won). if you lose, grandpa takes away the tokens you bet. and if 2 of the dice show the number you place a bet on, you get double.
anyway, i started off ok. betting 2 tokens every time, winning 4 tokens back. the lucky numbers were 5 and 6. but then at the end we all went wild with "all or nothing", putting all of our tokens in to bet. and LOL my bro lost alll his tokens/money. i was really unlucky at the end too, because i would place my bet on 5 for multiple times, but losing (he kept rolling 6), and when i finally decide to place a lot of tokens to bet on 6, he rolls a 5 LOL im just really unlucky this way.
at the end, alex won. he got 100 more than he orginally had. channey got back 30 more. i lost 280 lol. dunno how much henry lost, but i think he lost some of his money too. my bro lost ALL of his money LOL
it was FUN XDDDD
even though i did lose money, i believe that its ok to let go and have fun sometimes :D
LOL hope you all understood that. its pretty hard to explain with words.
but hope you guys are all having fun over the holidays.
