我想一下，對了，那時候的村上春樹正以石破天驚的方式席捲台灣書店。我順手拿了一本挪威的森林回家品嚐，發現我手上的這張Anthology Ⅱ裡面也正好有一首Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)，當下趕快把它塞進CD音響裡聆聽，雖然兩者沒有什麼明顯的相似之處，但是心裡隱隱約約覺得有很大的滿足感。村上他本人當時也應該有聽過這首歌吧。
這張專輯裡收錄著許多名曲：Real Love，Yesterday，I'm Looking Through You，Tomorrow Never Knows，
Eleanor Rigby ...等膾炙人口的歌曲。
當時看著這張專輯裡附贈的精美歌詞與簡介，覺得這絕對值得我去收藏他們所有的唱片。所謂不知道如何開始去聽一個經典樂團時，最好的作法就是：通通買起來。
但是當時並沒有那麼瘋狂，也沒有那麼多的金錢援助，一張唱片兩片CD裝的精選集得花五百多塊大洋，在拮据的情況下只好先用這張唱片解解饞。
在反覆聽了幾十遍之後，Real Love簡單雋永的意境，Yesterday永垂不朽的經典情歌，不知道為什麼笑成一團的And Your Bird Can Sing，深邃美麗的草莓園，輕鬆愉快的Penny Lane，象徵藍儂對人類認同感淪失的I Am The Walrus，以及Paul精細的The Fool On The Hill，當然還有可以搭配村上的Norwegian Wood；我好像進了大觀園一般的深深著迷，對裡面奇異的音樂世界神往不已。什麼時候才能夠讓我踏入藍儂成長的草莓園(雖然裡面好樣沒有草莓)，揭開裡面的神密面紗呢？
所謂經典就是裡頭有一些百聽不厭，而且經過樂評專家強力推薦，權威雜誌滾石Rolling Stone標上五顆星，被列為不可不聽的專輯，這種東西說什麼都要不計價錢弄來聽。你覺得Let it Be這種專輯或歌算不算經典呢？
記得這張專輯裡的最後一首歌Across The Universe很特別，很好聽，聽這種歌就好像會隨著藍儂慵懶的歌聲給吸進不停旋轉的漩渦一般在宇宙裡漫遊，再也不想出來了（文字就像下個不停的雨流入一個紙杯一般不停的流洩出來....）：

裡面有一句奇怪的歌詞：Jai guru
deva，根據可靠消息指出，好像是"向偉大的老師致敬"，或"老師萬歲"... 之類的吧，好像不知道是Guru還是Deva是teacher或master的意思，指的是印度大師。
