To me, preserving resources on earth is my social and environmental responsibility because they are limited. If we don’t control our usage, they may probably vanish soon, and we will not have enough resources to use. Therefore, we should treasure the existing resources well as the follows.
First, we should not buy the bottled water. The news has reported that the use of bottled water infers people’s lack of environmental consciousness. It says we should cherish our earth because the use of bottled water not only waste bottle but also consume much oil for transportation and manufacture. The recycling amount of plastic containers, in Taiwan, has reached 140 metric tons. These containers can be divided into 7 billion bottles if they are each shaped in plastic bottles of 600 c.c., and which can be piled up as four buildings of Taipei 101. Meanwhile, these bottles can be put around Taiwan Island for 1680 times when strung up. So, it is very important for us to prepare a bottle with ourselves. Although more and more bottled waters with fashionable packing from new brands appear in the market, we should still insist on not buying them. However, nowadays much more companies also start to pay great attention to the environmental protection. For example, Starbucks has promoted a plan that one can have a discount as long as they prepare the bottle themselves. I think this is really a breakthrough in environmental protection.
In addition, we can also preserve resources by taking mass transit, such as MRT, bus or train. Driving not only wastes the oil but also causes the air pollution and the traffic jam. The air pollution is serious day by day, and which has caused the greenhouse effect. The effect, then, even causes the ice melt on North Pole and the South Pole. Also, the animals of polar region will have no living place available, and a lot of low-lying countries will all disappear, too. They are all the influence of the greenhouse effect. Nowadays, Taipei city has hold a plan to encourage people to travel by the mass transit, in which the person who travels by the MRT, takes bus or parks vehicle in the parking can get a discount in Easy Card.
In brief, perhaps preserving resources is not a big deal in our live, but to earth it is very important. We only have an Earth, and we all have the duty to preserve the resources on earth. In this way, our earth can be more beautiful.

今天英文報告劃下句點，前幾天每天都熬夜，拜託外文系的朋友幫我看稿、拜託朋友的弟弟幫我修稿，終於結束了。
因為讀的是高職，真的很怕英文跟不上大家。
在準備的時候，用ＵＳＢ把自己做的Ｐｏｗｅｒ Ｐｏｉｎｔ檔存在老師的電腦裡，有人看見我做的，就說好可愛唷！讓我好開心。報告時，手真的抖得很厲害，覺得前面的人一定看得很清楚，讓人覺得尷尬。不過很多人都說我做得很可愛唷！
老師也說我表現得不錯呢！
另外，文中提到反對購買瓶裝水，我還特地帶我自己的杯子去，然後報告時又拿了室友的瓶裝水說：「不要購賣瓶裝水（舉起我室友的瓶裝水），要使用自己準備的瓶子（舉起自己的）」室友後來一直跟我抱怨為何要看不起她的寶特瓶呢！
第一次寫那麼長的英文文章，是就讀高職的我不曾有過的經驗，雖然很緊張，但也學到了很多，希望自己的英文能夠越來越進步。
