Physicians back company’s message of hope and health
A chorus of skeptics usually meets each great medical or scientific advance, and the world is better for it, because inventors are compelled to prove that their creations actually work.
Mannatech, the Coppell-based manufacturer of innovative nutritional
supplements, has had its share of skeptics — but they’ve been
silenced by a recent surge of interest in the glyconutrients on which
the company has built its success.
Thousands of peer-reviewed articles now indicate that there’s a
growing consensus that glyconutrients will play an important role in the 21st century’s emerging wellness industry. And, just as important, Mannatech has steadily gained new adherents among the “establishment” of health-care providers as medical science puts a new emphasis on
maintaining optimal health, rather than focusing entirely on treating illness.
Alex Omelchuk, M.D., former chief of staff of the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, is an esteemed medical professional who has looked at the science behind Mannatech’s products and liked what he saw so much that he became a Mannatech associate and a member of the company’s Speakers Bureau.
