Madame Rose, a magnificent french style restaurant, offers traditional english afternoon tea. the whole decoration and the atmosphere there are absolutely impressive. in addition, with the shining light and those valuable tea sets, customers will totally forget to judge their food.
well..when we steped into Madame Rose, we're stunned by the fabulous decoration. i'm not saying it's as fascinating as verseille. however, it's definitely one of the best in taipei in terms of decoraiton. there's no doubt that, after the waiter taking our order, i took out my digital camera and got ready to take some pictures. about half an hour later, the specially-made tea we ordered were served. well.. i have to say the tea pots are really expensive and delicate. on the other hand, the tea in the cup seems to be less brillant. anyway, during the time i was having my tea, my stomach started to feel a bit hungry. in the mean time, i tried to be patient for the sandwiches and, according the them, the handmade cookies we oredered. however, about 2 hours later, a waiter came to our table and told us they're sorry for the food we ordered were not available due to too many customers. and then, they replaced with some other snack for us.
yuk, i bet all of you would feel the same upset as me. we paid for not what we want and what's worse, the food to be honest is not as delicious as it's supposed to be. after all, the price are pretty high and except their beautiful decoration and tea sets, i'm not satisfied with anything, not to mention the waiters. although they were saying that they're sorry, i don't feel they're really sorry. therefore, my conclusion is that since i took enough pictures, quess i won't give it another chance though.
anyway, i'll not forget to let you know next time i discover a really good restaurant.
