恰好遇見阿發二哥來接他吃宵夜，據說等他的那群人，就是當時扛綠島大象上火車的。
我問二哥，那時會不會覺得阿發是「肖仔」，二哥回答「不會，他根本就是空ㄟ」不過，搬大象的那群人，現在很得意，臺東出了一個阿發和大象，真是了不起！
100元可以買到什麼？咖啡？便當？勉強加滿機車油箱的汽油？或者，你有更超值的選擇？
100元徹底改變李孟發的生命路徑，買到一頭大象，離開了13年的金融領域工作，卻賺進許多孩子的夢想，其間得失權衡，是值得深深玩味的歷程。
網拍的奇幻旅程
網拍的東西無其不有，這回，連大象也赫然在列！ 啊，說太快，是大象溜滑梯啦！玻璃纖維，20年份，還斷了一隻腳，底標80元。正常人應該不會有興趣下標，阿發如果太理性，今天我們就沒故事可寫了。
當時，三十出頭的阿發任職金融業資深從業人員，年薪破百萬，尤其在金融海嘯之際，是人人稱羨的，沒去買名牌，他卻對位在綠島的大象溜滑梯心動。「這個溜滑梯承載過這麼多孩子的『屁屁』，陪孩子度過歡樂時光，卻落得必須進垃圾場的命運」，阿發腦海想的，是臺東市小學母校另一個大象溜滑梯，一念之間，他下標了，出價100元。
「恭喜，您得標了。」阿發的手機出現簡訊，他還以為是詐騙集團。沒錯，綠島國小通知他，可以來「自取」得標物。
蝦米啊，換作是你，可能花錢動用吊車、卡車，橫渡太平洋，把80公斤的溜滑梯運到臺北市的公寓嗎？
那年，莫拉克風災造成臺東不小災情，身為臺東子弟，阿發返鄉擔任救災義工，遇到綠島公館國小姚校長，他提到大象溜滑梯的困擾，姚校長欣然同意，「就移到公館來吧」。
孩子的希望大使 大象溜滑梯經過綠島公館國小、綠島國小學童合力彩繪，煥然一新，由海洋的藍色換成有如綠島太陽熱情的橘色，開心的搬新家。活動上了新聞版面，綠島大象成為綠島新地標。如果溜滑梯繼續只當溜滑梯，故事就不好玩了。
它的身份微妙的轉變了，「綠島大象」是大家對它的暱稱。阿發無意間聽到孩子對話，希望綠島大象陪他們玩耍，可以去臺灣旅行、環遊世界。
沒錯，就是要溜滑梯去臺灣旅行。身為綠島大象的監護人，大象爸爸阿發決定發揮執行力，以行動來陪伴大象完成夢想。著手策劃大象船運到臺灣，以及後續遊程安排。
阿發的構想，當然是被「正常」社會視為瘋狂的。向政府機關提出計畫時，屢屢碰壁，臺東生活美學館館長林永發、國立師範大學教授葉欣誠、姚麗吉校長是一路支持的推手。他們真的讓大象裝箱坐上船，還動用壯漢讓大象坐上火車，帶著綠島小朋友玩遍五都，而且還讓綠島大象成為環境教育大使，在臺灣各地宣導環境教育的重要性。
想像一個大象溜滑梯在渡輪遊愛河的感覺，還到木柵動物園與象爺爺見面，甚至公館國小的畢業旅行，就和大象參觀花博，所到之處，媒體大篇幅報導，形成議題，廢棄物活化再利用的行動，逐漸讓綠島大象成為環境教育的代言。
阿發更讓綠島大象發揮更多可能性：有學校提出邀請，師大環境教育研究所以綠島大象為主題提出相關研究計畫，出版社更將這個故事出版繪本。綠島大象常「出差」不在公館國小，綠島孩童和許多遊客沒見到本尊，難免失望。
所幸一家主題樂園有個和綠島大象非常相像的溜滑梯，在東部海岸國家風景區管理處等單位的協助下，順利「媒合」成為「職務代理人」，現在公館國小的綠島大象分身很受孩子和遊客歡迎。綠島大象象徵愛惜資源、保護環境意義，與東管處積極推廣低碳旅遊理念一致，因此納入第三屆旅遊達人募集活動，綠島大象列為集點拿好康的景點之一！

「綠島大象」繪本回臺東辦新書發表會，第一站在阿發母校─仁愛國小，用綠島大象讓孩子知道，有許多你覺得「該丟掉的」東西，只要多用心，會發現它還有不同用途。
阿發特別介紹仁愛國小的水泥白色大象，他曾在大象肚子下度過童年失意、沮喪時光，這個好朋友是觸動買下綠島大象的原點。
綠島大象的故事在欣誠教授協助下，引起丹麥駐臺北辦事處關注，丹麥首都根本哈根有個著名的小美人魚地標，命運和綠島大象有異曲同工之妙，他們希望促成綠島大象和小美人魚有相見歡的機會，向世界宣揚環境教育。
「綠島大象環境教育推廣計畫」並獲得行政院環保署「101年地球環境季」績優獎，對阿發毋疑是一種肯定。辭去工作三年多來，為綠島大象投注的金錢和心力，無法具體計價。阿發還成立動畫工作室，為綠島大象製作動畫，讓小朋友更容易走進故事核心。他一直希望轉行到文創領域，綠島大象提供更廣的人生平台，生命因而充實，不是金錢可以衡量的。
綠島大象不但為孩子圓夢，也讓阿發圓了自我價值的追求。

回想一下當初會讓我一頭栽進繪本世界的是"THE SNOWMAN"呢!^^
不過我是先看到影片在買到書的~為了那一本雪人買了一整套上誼圖畫書視聽之旅,這套擺在家裡十多年的書,現在也變成我女兒的最愛啦!

一九八五年，林真美在日本「邂逅」了她的第一本繪本—little blue and little yellow；這本文圖簡單清新卻又饒富趣味的小書，讓她第一次體會到繪本的神奇與美好。

中國大陸霾害問題日益嚴重，先撇開如何解決霾害汙染不談，惠貞認為，台灣目前一年中受到霾害、沙塵暴的影響月份超過六個月，成年人看到空氣品質不佳，會自動戴上口罩、減少外出。但是對於500萬名學生而言，當沙塵暴、霾害來襲時，可能還在戶外上體育課、室外活動。
由於空氣汙染達到嚴重等級時，有時肉眼仍難以察覺，因此我提案要求教育部、環保署、氣象局立即研議建立合作機制，將「空汙指數」列入停課標準，並於空氣品質達到危害等級時，主動通知各級學校，要求停止一切戶外活動，保障全國500萬學生之身體健康。
希望所有的小朋友都能在健康的環境中成長壯大，讓台灣成為真正的美麗之島，孕育出一代又一代的國家棟樑。

環保人士鍾峪更能證實這一點。她背著一台俗稱「機器肺」的PM2.5（指大氣中直徑小於或等於2.5微米的細懸浮微粒）採集樣本機器，在北京跑馬拉松進行測試，結果令她震驚，跑步6小時後，儀器的白色濾膜已變成灰黃色，她無奈說：「如果空氣不好，跑步對我究竟是健康還是不健康？」
鍾峪表示：「PM2.5跟吸菸一樣，沒有人能告訴你吸幾支香菸就會得癌症。」
2012年因暴露在PM2.5污染物而死亡的北京民眾，高達2589人，比2005年美國卡崔娜颶風的死亡人數還多。中國衛生部前部長陳竺也曾坦言，空氣污染將導致中國每年有近50萬人恐早死，這個數字令人怵目驚心 — 覺得很糟。

加拿大多倫多大學的科學家發現一種能長時間存在大氣中的溫室氣體，其對氣候的潛在影響可能遠遠超越其他溫室氣體。這種溫室氣體叫做全氟三丁胺（簡稱PFTBA），是目前已知輻射效率最佳的化學物質。

輻射效率指的是一種分子影響氣候的效率。輻射效率乘以此分子在大氣中的濃度所得的數值，就是此化學物質對氣候造成的總影響。
PFTBA是人造的化學物質，不會自然產生。PFTBA從20世紀中起被應用在電子設備中，加在熱穩定和化學穩定的液體中做為導熱劑。「以100年為區間計算，一個PFTBA分子對氣候變遷的影響等於7100個二氧化碳分子。」
不同化合物停留在大氣層中的時間長短不同，決定了該物質對氣候影響的大小。PFTBA會長時間存在大氣中，可能長達數百年。而目前沒有辦法將PFTBA從低層大氣中移除，PFTBA只有在高層大氣中會被破壞掉。
「PFTBA能停留在大氣中非常長的時間，輻射效率極高；因此其全球暖化潛勢也極高。」研究者Angela Hong說。研究團隊成員Cora Young解釋：「全球暖化潛勢（Global warming potential，GWP）是將特定氣體和相同質量的二氧化碳比較，造成全球暖化的相對能力。也是衡量一段時間內，溫室氣體對氣候造成累積效應的單位。」二氧化碳是最首要且影響氣候變遷最劇的物質，因此成為比較的基準。
這項研究由多倫多大學化學系的Scott Mabury教授主持，由加拿大自然科學和工程研究理事會提供研究經費，發表在Geophysical Research Letters期刊。

根據美國德州大學癌症中心的依芳．科伊爾教授（Dr. Yvonne Coyle）的統計資料顯示，如果空氣中的微粒中含有金屬成份，那麼更有可能會引發肺癌。他們用1995～2000年德州254郡的肺癌病人，比對美國環保署所有工業釋放的金屬微粒資料（1988～2000年），估計約有10～15％的肺癌病人（從不抽煙）是由空氣中的金屬微粒所造成。 — 在看一路紅到底；於新營。 小朋友小心空氣污染喔!

COP19 (16/11/13) -- As the second country in the world to classify greenhouse gases as an air pollutant, Shin-Cheng Yeh, Deputy Minister for the Environmental Protection Administration of Taiwan, says his country has a great deal to offer neighbours like China.
Taiwan is in the process of setting emissions standards for the industrial sectors and has set a national target to reduce CO2 back to 2005 levels.
Because of its cultural ties and a similar industrial framework to China, Yeh says Taiwan could help China "skip some steps" when it comes to reducing air pollution.

中國大陸霾害問題日益嚴重，惠貞早在去年就已經在立法院關注此一現象，並要求行政機關針對霾害問題提出解決方案。
先撇開如何解決霾害汙染不談，惠貞認為，台灣目前一年中受到霾害、沙塵暴的影響月份超過六個月，成年人看到空氣品質不佳，會自動戴上口罩、減少外出。但是對於500萬名學生而言，當沙塵暴、霾害來襲時，可能還在戶外上體育課、室外活動。
由於空氣汙染達到嚴重等級時，有時肉眼仍難以察覺，因此我提案要求教育部、環保署、氣象局立即研議建立合作機制，將「空汙指數」列入停課標準，並於空氣品質達到危害等級時，主動通知各級學校，要求停止一切戶外活動，保障全國500萬學生之身體健康。
希望所有的小朋友都能在健康的環境中成長壯大，讓台灣成為真正的美麗之島，孕育出一代又一代的國家棟樑。

（中央社記者林琳華沙20日專電）在華沙舉行的氣候變遷會議期間訪問代表團團長的聯合國「氣候變遷電視」，以「台灣可在減少空氣污染方面教育中國大陸」為題，播出中華民國行政院環保署副署長葉欣誠的專訪。
「氣候變遷電視」（Climate Change TV）的記者於16日訪問葉欣誠，談代表團的參與及台灣碳排放問題。葉欣誠表示，代表團在華沙會議期間與其他國家代表就降低排放量的策略及因應氣候變遷的措施交換意見。
針對台灣平均排放量相對較高的問題，葉欣誠說明，台灣生產許多國際市場上的商品，包括自行車和個人電腦，產業在生產過程中的碳排放大約占台灣總排放量的半數。除了政府積極推動希望通過降低碳排放量的法案，台灣產業已經朝向更重生態保護發展。
進行訪談的記者提出：台灣在地緣上與中國大陸很接近，這方面的經驗是否有可讓中國大陸借鏡之處
葉欣誠 Dr. S. C. YEH 表示，台灣產業的架構和中國大陸相似，他相信可分享相關資訊。
他指出，由於台海兩岸在文化上共通，居民也在生活習慣上有所改變，而且台灣經歷過工業成長的過程，也許台灣可以分享這方面的經驗，讓中國大陸可以在降低空氣污染方面「跳過一些階段」。1021120

建立「華沙REDD+機制架構」
各界認為本次會議最具體的成效則為森林復育及降低毀林所致排放量，亦即建立所謂的「華沙REDD+機制架構(the Warsaw Framework for REDD+)」，初步已獲來自美國、挪威與英國承諾提供2.8億美元資金支持，然而相對於估計全球每年約需300億美元資金仍有極大缺口；該項議題經過長 達八年的協商談判，對於制訂與森林有關的可量測、可報告及可查證(Measurable, Reportable, Verifiable, MRV)指南、財務分配運用、雙邊或多邊/公眾民間機構擴大參與等雖有顯著的進展與共識，然而資金尚未完全到位及整體機制設計執行處於起步階段，加上該 REDD+議題涉及部分關鍵國家的內部政治、地緣勢力及原民生態等複雜因素，該機制能否獲致預期成效仍有待商榷。
通過「華沙損失與損害機制」
在本次會議前，菲律賓發生海燕颱風侵襲的嚴重傷亡事件，因此，各國代表及非政府組織強烈要求建立損失與損害賠償機制，也 成為此次會議最具爭議的議題。會議最終通過「華沙損失與損害機制(the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage)，期能提供保護協助給予最弱勢族群或國家，使其得以避免因為極端天氣事件與緩慢發生氣候變遷事件（例如：海平面上升）遭受損失。不過，對於 所需資金的額度及時間表都未獲得具體承諾，離綠色氣候基金(Green Climate Fund, GCF)委員會所設定每年1,000億美元調適基金的額度仍有相當大的差距（目前僅有包括奧地利、比利時、芬蘭、法國、德國、挪威、瑞典、瑞士等已開發國 家已支付或承諾支付超過1億美元調適基金），公約同時決議2016年檢討此新機制架構及執行有效性等課題。
因此，在僅剩兩年的時間壓力下，全球 勢將面臨涉及減量規模、決心、堅持、推展速度和時間表等綜合性的考驗與挑戰。

1). 今天要跟大家談的是氣候變遷，我們都知道地球的溫度是越來越高，在全球暖化的影響下，氣候逐漸變的極端，以臺灣來說，這一百年來，台灣平均一年，溫度上升1.3度，而每當海平面上升0.5公尺，臺灣將損失105平方公里的土地，而根據資料近十年來，臺灣極端降雨情況是明顯的在增加，而對於我們土地發出來的警訊，你或許很少去關心、去思考，但有一群年輕人，他們用行動來關心這樣的問題，還前往了剛剛在華沙落幕的聯合國氣候變遷大會，站上國際場合，呼籲各國重視氣候問題，而我們今天就請到青年氣候變遷聯盟的成員，賴柏宏 以及 郭映庭 來到節目中，跟大家一同關心這個議題。

Relatively high average emissions for the issue of Taiwan , Dr. Shin Cheng YEH instructions, Taiwan's production of many commodities on the international market , including bicycles and PC , industrial carbon emissions during production accounts for about half of Taiwan's total emissions. In addition to actively promote government hopes to reduce carbon emissions bill , Taiwan's industry has developed towards heavier ecological protection .

北部、金門及馬祖地區受境外污染物移入影響，空氣中懸浮微粒(PM10)及細懸浮微粒(PM2.5)濃度偏高;臺西、麥寮、崙背及朴子等地區受地表風速增強影響,出現揚塵現象，空氣中懸浮微粒偏高。環保署提醒過敏族群及老人、小孩、心血管疾病患者應儘量避免戶外長時間劇烈活動。

環保人士鍾峪更能證實這一點。她背著一台俗稱「機器肺」的PM2.5（指大氣中直徑小於或等於2.5微米的細懸浮微粒）採集樣本機器，在北京跑馬拉松進行測試，結果令她震驚，跑步6小時後，儀器的白色濾膜已變成灰黃色，她無奈說：「如果空氣不好，跑步對我究竟是健康還是不健康？」
鍾峪表示：「PM2.5跟吸菸一樣，沒有人能告訴你吸幾支香菸就會得癌症。」
2012年因暴露在PM2.5污染物而死亡的北京民眾，高達2589人，比2005年美國卡崔娜颶風的死亡人數還多。中國衛生部前部長陳竺也曾坦言，空氣污染將導致中國每年有近50萬人恐早死，這個數字令人怵目驚心

中國大陸霾害問題日益嚴重，惠貞早在去年就已經在立法院關注此一現象，並要求行政機關針對霾害問題提出解決方案。
先撇開如何解決霾害汙染不談，惠貞認為，台灣目前一年中受到霾害、沙塵暴的影響月份超過六個月，成年人看到空氣品質不佳，會自動戴上口罩、減少外出。但是對於500萬名學生而言，當沙塵暴、霾害來襲時，可能還在戶外上體育課、室外活動。
由於空氣汙染達到嚴重等級時，有時肉眼仍難以察覺，因此我提案要求教育部、環保署、氣象局立即研議建立合作機制，將「空汙指數」列入停課標準，並於空氣品質達到危害等級時，主動通知各級學校，要求停止一切戶外活動，保障全國500萬學生之身體健康。
希望所有的小朋友都能在健康的環境中成長壯大，讓台灣成為真正的美麗之島，孕育出一代又一代的國家棟樑。

「氣候變遷電視」（Climate Change TV）的記者於16日訪問葉欣誠，談代表團的參與及台灣碳排放問題。葉欣誠表示，代表團在華沙會議期間與其他國家代表就降低排放量的策略及因應氣候變遷的措施交換意見。
針對台灣平均排放量相對較高的問題，葉欣誠說明，台灣生產許多國際市場上的商品，包括自行車和個人電腦，產業在生產過程中的碳排放大約占台灣總排放量的半數。除了政府積極推動希望通過降低碳排放量的法案，台灣產業已經朝向更重生態保護發展。
進行訪談的記者提出：台灣在地緣上與中國大陸很接近，這方面的經驗是否有可讓中國大陸借鏡之處
葉欣誠 Dr. S. C. YEH 表示，台灣產業的架構和中國大陸相似，他相信可分享相關資訊。
他指出，由於台海兩岸在文化上共通，居民也在生活習慣上有所改變，而且台灣經歷過工業成長的過程，也許台灣可以分享這方面的經驗，讓中國大陸可以在降低空氣污染方面「跳過一些階段」。1021120

但氣候談判是什麼呢？身在台灣的我們如何追蹤它的進展？

「為什麼要關心COP19？」
這個會議，是全世界唯一的氣候談判場所，也是唯一有權規範締約國家實行減碳責任、調適行動的公約。氣候變遷是屬於我們世代的挑戰，台灣青年不能缺席。
「為什麼說，2013年至關重要？」
聯合國政府間氣候變遷小組(IPCC)在今年九月發佈報告，告訴全世界我們就算現在行動，全球地表還是有可能上升到環境難以負荷的程度。到時候接連發生的，就是環境惡化、海洋酸化、極端氣候等。誠如九月底文茜世界週報中評論道：「人類很有可能成為第一個有意識的摧毀自己的物種。」
「那，我們還有時間嗎？」
2020年，京都議定書，國際上唯一具有法律效力的減碳議定書將會到期。全世界都看著聯合國，希望能夠有下一個協議。下一個協議，計劃在2015年簽訂。
我們還有兩年。分秒必爭的兩年。

訂出各國應提交減量貢獻的期限
建立「華沙REDD+機制架構」
各界認為本次會議最具體的成效則為森林復育及降低毀林所致排放量，亦即建立所謂的「華沙REDD+機制架構(the Warsaw Framework for REDD+)」，初步已獲來自美國、挪威與英國承諾提供2.8億美元資金支持，然而相對於估計全球每年約需300億美元資金仍有極大缺口；該項議題經過長 達八年的協商談判，對於制訂與森林有關的可量測、可報告及可查證(Measurable, Reportable, Verifiable, MRV)指南、財務分配運用、雙邊或多邊/公眾民間機構擴大參與等雖有顯著的進展與共識，然而資金尚未完全到位及整體機制設計執行處於起步階段，加上該 REDD+議題涉及部分關鍵國家的內部政治、地緣勢力及原民生態等複雜因素，該機制能否獲致預期成效仍有待商榷。
通過「華沙損失與損害機制」
在本次會議前，菲律賓發生海燕颱風侵襲的嚴重傷亡事件，因此，各國代表及非政府組織強烈要求建立損失與損害賠償機制，也 成為此次會議最具爭議的議題。會議最終通過「華沙損失與損害機制(the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage)，期能提供保護協助給予最弱勢族群或國家，使其得以避免因為極端天氣事件與緩慢發生氣候變遷事件（例如：海平面上升）遭受損失。不過，對於 所需資金的額度及時間表都未獲得具體承諾，離綠色氣候基金(Green Climate Fund, GCF)委員會所設定每年1,000億美元調適基金的額度仍有相當大的差距（目前僅有包括奧地利、比利時、芬蘭、法國、德國、挪威、瑞典、瑞士等已開發國 家已支付或承諾支付超過1億美元調適基金），公約同時決議2016年檢討此新機制架構及執行有效性等課題。
因此，在僅剩兩年的時間壓力下，全球 勢將面臨涉及減量規模、決心、堅持、推展速度和時間表等綜合性的考驗與挑戰。

Apart from the government hopes to actively promote a bill to reduce carbon emissions , Taiwan's heavy industry has been towards a more ecological protection and development .
Conduct interviews with reporters asked : Taiwan and mainland China geographically very close , whether this experience allows mainland China learn from the Department ? Dr. SHIN-CHENG YEH said that Taiwan and mainland China industrial structure similar to that he believes can share relevant information.
He pointed out that cross-strait common in the culture , the residents also been a change in lifestyle , and Taiwan experienced the process of industrial growth , and perhaps Taiwan can share this experience , so that mainland China can reduce air pollution " jump some stage . " NOV. 20, 2013

1). 今天要跟大家談的是氣候變遷，我們都知道地球的溫度是越來越高，在全球暖化的影響下，氣候逐漸變的極端，以臺灣來說，這一百年來，台灣平均一年，溫度上升1.3度，而每當海平面上升0.5公尺，臺灣將損失105平方公里的土地，而根據資料近十年來，臺灣極端降雨情況是明顯的在增加，而對於我們土地發出來的警訊，你或許很少去關心、去思考，但有一群年輕人，他們用行動來關心這樣的問題，還前往了剛剛在華沙落幕的聯合國氣候變遷大會，站上國際場合，呼籲各國重視氣候問題，而我們今天就請到青年氣候變遷聯盟的成員，賴柏宏 以及 郭映庭 來到節目中，跟大家一同關心這個議題。

Relatively high average emissions for the issue of Taiwan , Dr. Shin Cheng YEH instructions, Taiwan's production of many commodities on the international market , including bicycles and PC , industrial carbon emissions during production accounts for about half of Taiwan's total emissions. In addition to actively promote government hopes to reduce carbon emissions bill , Taiwan's industry has developed towards heavier ecological protection .
The reporter interviews made : Taiwan geographically very close to the Chinese mainland , whether this experience can learn from the Chinese mainland to allow the ART DEPARTMENT.
Dr. Shing-Cheng YEH said that Taiwan's industrial structure and is similar to the Chinese mainland, he believes can share relevant information.

"2041南極的力量，人生的兩個選項"
2041年是一個在南極會被經常提起的年份，這一年，有關限制各國在南極採礦的南極條约，「馬德里公約」將要失效。到那時候，人們將會决定是否延續這個公约。如果這個限制被打破，那麼可以想見，對於能源財富的貪婪和渴望，才是所谓聖地真正的夢靨。羅伯特斯旺(Robert Swan)一直認為：『地球最大的威脅，就是你相信别人會去拯救她』(The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it)，為此他成立了2041國際組織，想要守護南極。因為地球只有一個，南極也只有一個。
台灣，是我們唯一個家鄉；南極，為地球上最後的一塊淨土。經過一個月的探險之後，台灣第一個加入2041團隊的青年良伊，在這次旅行中，學到的永續發展、氣候變遷、領導學程等，利用在白色記憶天堂拍攝的影像，和大家一起喚起這些長久的記憶土地，白色的荒野─南極。

Taiwan is in the process of setting emissions standards for the industrial sectors and has set a national target to reduce CO2 back to 2005 levels.
Because of its cultural ties and a similar industrial framework to China, Yeh says Taiwan could help China "skip some steps" when it comes to reducing air pollution.

台東首次開辦的愛心待用便當活動。五○○俱樂部執行長黃揚升表示，為響應待用餐善行，幫助有困難的民眾，該會規劃「愛心待用便當」活動，預計募集五○○個愛心便當提供民眾索取，推動過程中獲得東池便當等多位善心人士響應，讓總數達到900個，實在是揪甘心。他強調，待用不是施捨，而是關懷與尊重，是為弱勢提供尊嚴的幫助；五○○俱樂部希望藉由這個小小的活動，激起更多愛心的火花，也能為社會盡一些心力。

Super Greenhouse Gas Discovered 7,100 Times Stronger Than CO2
TORONTO, Ontario, Canada, December 9, 2013 (ENS)
Scientists from the University of Toronto have identified a chemical in the atmosphere that appears to be a long-lived greenhouse gas that breaks all other chemical records for its potential to affect the climate.
The chemical – perfluorotributylamine, or PFTBA – is the most radiatively-efficient chemical found to date.
Radiative efficiency describes how effectively a molecule can affect climate. This value is then multiplied by its atmospheric concentration to determine the total climate impact.
PFTBA is produced by humans, it does not occur naturally.
PFTBA has been in use since the mid-20th century for applications in electrical equipment. It is used in thermally and chemically stable liquids marketed for use in electronic testing and as heat transfer agents.
There are no known processes that would destroy or remove PFTBA in the lower atmosphere, so it has a very long lifetime, possibly hundreds of years. It is destroyed in the upper atmosphere.
“Global warming potential is a metric used to compare the cumulative effects of different greenhouse gases on climate over a specified time period,” said Cora Young who was part of the University of Toronto Department of Chemistry team, along with Angela Hong and their supervisor, Professor Scott Mabury.
Different compounds stay in the atmosphere for different lengths of time, which determines how long-lasting the climate impacts are.
Carbon dioxide, CO2, is used as the baseline for comparison since it is the most important greenhouse gas responsible for human-induced climate change.
“PFTBA is extremely long-lived in the atmosphere and it has a very high radiative efficiency; the result of this is a very high global warming potential,” said Hong.
“Calculated over a 100-year time frame, a single molecule of PFTBA has the equivalent climate impact as 7,100 molecules of CO2,” she said.
The research was funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada and was published online at Geophysical Research Letters on November 27, 2013.

加拿大多倫多大學的科學家發現一種能長時間存在大氣中的溫室氣體，其對氣候的潛在影響可能遠遠超越其他溫室氣體。這種溫室氣體叫做全氟三丁胺（簡稱PFTBA），是目前已知輻射效率最佳的化學物質。

輻射效率指的是一種分子影響氣候的效率。輻射效率乘以此分子在大氣中的濃度所得的數值，就是此化學物質對氣候造成的總影響。
PFTBA是人造的化學物質，不會自然產生。PFTBA從20世紀中起被應用在電子設備中，加在熱穩定和化學穩定的液體中做為導熱劑。「以100年為區間計算，一個PFTBA分子對氣候變遷的影響等於7100個二氧化碳分子。」
不同化合物停留在大氣層中的時間長短不同，決定了該物質對氣候影響的大小。PFTBA會長時間存在大氣中，可能長達數百年。而目前沒有辦法將PFTBA從低層大氣中移除，PFTBA只有在高層大氣中會被破壞掉。
「PFTBA能停留在大氣中非常長的時間，輻射效率極高；因此其全球暖化潛勢也極高。」研究者Angela Hong說。研究團隊成員Cora Young解釋：「全球暖化潛勢（Global warming potential，GWP）是將特定氣體和相同質量的二氧化碳比較，造成全球暖化的相對能力。也是衡量一段時間內，溫室氣體對氣候造成累積效應的單位。」二氧化碳是最首要且影響氣候變遷最劇的物質，因此成為比較的基準。
這項研究由多倫多大學化學系的Scott Mabury教授主持，由加拿大自然科學和工程研究理事會提供研究經費，發表在Geophysical Research Letters期刊。

那天光看蘇小姐副館長的表情和她說話的內容 ; 我就好驚喜和開心喔~! 那天我也一直笑 & smile / smiling. ^_^ 兩張(壓花)花草貼是我辛苦得來的. & 等它乾要等滿久的. 葉子我貼的. 超好用的 圓型環保再生的紙墊若上下層髒了就可斯下薄薄薄的一層紙, 還會剩下滿厚的環保再生的紙墊, 可撕大約12層以上, 真好用, 不用髒了就丟, 至少可用12次以上. 我撕過超好撕的, 我意外發現的方法真太環保和太廢物利用=可做出乾淨的好東西=太好了!! 希望大家知道這種好東西呀!! 有讚沒?
