Cassie 刻畫中~

眼看就要 10 月喽!! 

Cassie 忙著刻大幅的作品, 描述一下實際的狀況:

原本不會構圖的Cassie, 在這次的大幅作品中學習了畫草圖,

雖然草圖和完成圖相差很遠, 到是一個新的嘗試... 畢竟要走走看沒走過的路 



這是一片片的葉子, 從刻畫時明白一些很簡單卻意境深遠的道理.

我想這是最佳思考人生的時刻 ...

葉子一片片的出現    時間一分分的過去

我的心境也跟著畫面轉變

從一張白靜無表情的紙上

慢慢出現不預期的鏤空

空氣開始流散

總是需要幾片香香甜甜的餅乾和咖啡

來延續這一切

然後突然出現一片朦朧時

今天的葉子生長期也告停止

就這麼持續個幾天

當葉子佈滿了畫面

我停住手上的刀

於是一切就完成了

然後我開始看著葉片飄動

心中也跟著飄飄然

WOw, I wished I could do something like that. :D
(did you use pencil to draw the draft on the paper?? Or just cut as you go? )
what kind of paper (the weight of the paper) you use??

Ha~ This is for another coming exhibition.(In December)
I am working on 10-15 big works now.
There are a lot of people ask me if I draw the draft befor I cut. the answer is no.
For me, the knif is like my drawing pencil.
This time I use handmade paper(薄的像寫毛筆字用的紙.)
I like to try different paper every time.

Wow, the paper is so fine and thin?! it's so hard to cut the curve lines, right?
well, surely you have the sharpest cutter for this great work! Keep it up..
show us the pictures of your exhibition in Dec.. wow, can't wait! :)

Ha!Ha~ my dear friend~
I guess you will understand the most important thing to the handmaker is the more you work with it the better you can be. right?! just like your lovely knitting garment.
