Today is a very special day for me! One thing most of my friends will never believe me---I can do the cake decorations!!!
This morning we went to Karen's house to learn how to do the cake decorations. When we got there, she was waiting for us for a while. She showed me a lot of pictures of the cakes she ever made. Oh....you never guess what she can do. She made cakes with different designs, even different patterns. She also can make wonderful wedding cakes.
She explianed everything and details what I really need to know. And she demostrated how to do it first. After she finished it, it's my turn to do the cake!
I made the icing by myself. I put a whole bag of sugar powder in it because I need double the recipe due to the big size cake. Then I stired all the stuff to make icing. I scratched all the leftover around the pot. And put the icing around the cake. It was interesting and funny because we put fresh cream on the cake, which always makes me sick. But here they put more sugar to do the icing. After the icing part, I started to make some flowers on the cake. It was hard to make roses with leaves, but I still did it! I'm so proud of myself when I finished it. I can't believe my eyes to see my cake done! It's just amazing that I realize I can do something I never know I can do. So from now on, I think I can do anything as long as I want to!
Just like this trip to United States by myself. I think it's not a big deal if you go traveling alone. The most important thing is that the happiness of traveling is way over than the money you pay or places you go, it's all about your heart! If you adjust your heart and clean it, learn to accept everything or different experience. I believe that will make your trip more interesting and wonderful!!!
I like the cake here although they are too sweet. I'd love to say I hope I can still keep learning something about the cake decorations. I love to make cakes by myself!!
