Happy second valentine

I was walking this dark bridge, all alone one night. I could see nothing in the river, cars were passing me by, there wasnt a single soul in sight. 

I stopped in the middle of the bridge. It might be nice to have someone around in times like this. This eerie-ness might even seem romantically beautiful if someone was around. 


I thought of you. 
I don't know why.


And then I saw, you coming from the other end of the bridge. You were all blurred due to my bad night vision. You were walking in your couldnotcarelessbuthereIam pace, and as we came closer to each other, I couldn't help but smile. I was happy to see you. Here. At this time. 


Suddenly it all make sense. 
Whatever I wasn't sure of, I was sure now. 


And that's the first day I love you.

I loved you, way before you loved me. 

Relationships doesn't benefit the one with a great head start, but its okay, now that you've finally got on to the track, I intend to live till 65, so that leaves you with 30 more years to catch up.
