 10 times its size

 漲大10倍


The 6th grade science teacher, Mrs. Parks, asked her class,
"Which human body part increases to 10 times its size whenstimulated?"

六年級自然科老師帕克太太，問她班上的學生，

“人體哪個部位，受到刺激時，會漲大到原來的10倍？ ”

No one answered until little Mary stood up, angry, and said,"Youshould not be asking sixth-graders a question like that! I'm going totell my parents and they will go and tell the principal, who will then fireyou!"

With a sneer on her face, she then sat back down.
沒有一個人回答，直到小瑪麗站了起來，生氣的說：“你不應該問六年級學生這種問題！我要告訴我的父母，他們會去報告校長，然後你就會被炒魷魚！“她的臉上露出一絲冷笑，然後坐回自己的座位。

Mrs. Parks ignored her and asked the question again,
"Which body part increases to 10 times its size when stimulated?"
Little Mary's mouth fell open; then she said to those around her, "Boy, is she going to get in big trouble!"

帕克老師沒有理會她，並再次提出同樣的問題，

“當受到刺激時，人體哪個部位，會漲大到原來的10倍大小？ ”

小瑪麗張大了嘴巴，對她身邊的同學說，

“哇塞，她是真要惹上大麻煩了！”

The teacher continued to ignore her and said to the class,"Anybody?"
Finally, Billy stood up, looked around nervously, and said, "The body partthat increases 10 times its size when stimulated is the pupil of the eye."

老師仍然沒有理她，問全班同學說，“有人知道嗎？ ”終於，比利站了起來，緊張的看了看四周，然後回答說：“人體受到刺激時，會漲大到原來的10倍的是眼睛的瞳孔。 ”

Mrs. Parks said, "Very good, Billy," then turnedto Mary and continued, "As for you, young lady, I have three things to say:
1. you have a dirty mind
2. you didn't read your homework, and
3. one day you are going to be very, very disappointed."

帕克老師說， “很好，比利，”

然后轉頭向瑪麗說，“至於你，小姑娘，我有三件事要告訴你：

1，你的腦子很骯髒，

2，你沒預習你的功課，

3，將來有一天，你將會非常，非常的失望！
