談戀愛有不同的進程，失戀當然也會有不同狀態的心路歷程，腦袋簡單的我只想到四種。每一種不同的狀態我找了四首歌當代表。
Voila，以下就是失戀四部曲。
無法接受事實期：
Don't let it end－－By Styx，一支被稱是藝術搖滾的團體，其主唱Dannis De Young唱過許多膾炙人口的抒情歌曲，像是Desert Moon、Call Me等。
戀人突然離你而去，慌亂的心不知該如何是好？What can I do? Pictures of you still make me cry. Trying to live without your love, it's so hard to do. Some nights I wake up, I look at your pillow, hoping that I'll see you there.
於是午夜夢回，後悔自己對感情的不經意，想挽回遠去的戀人：I'm telling you baby, I've made my mistakes but I'll make you this promise to do what it takes. I'll be there to protect you and hold you tight. You've got my loving baby every single night. Don't let it end, I'm begging you don't let it end this way……
如果你有媲美Dannis De Young高亢深情的嗓音，或可成功挽回戀人，但是既然標題叫做失戀四部曲，我們繼續看看挽不回戀人其心情會如何轉折：
賭氣逞強期：
Missing You－－By John Waite，前The Babies主唱，帥哥一枚。他在1989年又組了個搖滾樂團叫Bad English。這首Missing You在我剛進高一時發行的，我記得這首歌曾拿過排行榜第一名，當時我剛考進學校的廣播社，中午播音的時候裝可愛央求社團學長放這首歌。
確定挽回不了戀人，心肝會結歸丸好長一陣子：Everytime I think of you, I always catch my breath. And I'm still standing here, and you're miles away,and I'm wonderin' why you left. And there's a storm that's raging through my frozen heart tonight. I hear your name in certain circles, and it always makes me smile. I spend my time thinkin' about you, and it's almost driving me wild.
這樣心肝結歸丸也不是辦法，自我催眠或許會好一些吧？不斷的告訴自己一點都不想你：I ain't missing you at all (missing you) since you've been gone away. I ain't missing you (missing you), no matter what I might say……And there's a message that I'm sending out, like a telegraph to your soul. And if I can't bridge this distance, stop this heartbreak overload.
這首歌最有意思的設計是，在vocal部分不斷的強調 I ain't missing you，表面上的自我欺騙，合音卻低訴著missing you，那才是心底真正的聲音，才會歌名叫做 missing you啊！結尾更是神來一筆的 I ain't missing you, I can lie to myself，終於承認是自我欺騙。
終於看破期：
I'll be alright without you－－By Journey，也是一支搖滾團體。
雖然愛情逝去，日子總要過下去，告訴自己I'll be alright without you，會比較容易療傷一點。I'll be alright without you. There'll be someone else, I keep telling myself. I'll be alright without you. Oh, love's an empty face, I can't replace……
雲淡風輕期：要對一個人完全放下不再有任何心情，恐怕是多年以後了。
Same old lang syne－－By Dan Fogelberg，他被喻為詩人歌手，他的歌總是悠悠淡淡，用看似平靜的詞曲，牽動你埋藏在心中最深的感覺。這首Same old lang syne，我個人認為，是他最經典的一首歌。
分開多年的戀人意外不期而遇，場景不見得浪漫，雜貨店都有可能：Met my old lover in the grocery store. The snow was falling Christmas Eve. I stole behind her in the frozen foods and I touched her on the sleeve.
情傷已經淡然，兩人或許各有嫁娶，在人生上各有歷練，再度相見只是激動而了無怨憾：She didn't recognize the face at first but then her eyes flew open wide. She went to hug me and she spilled her purse and we laughed until we cried.
兩人把酒憶往，各自說說自己的遭遇，也為過去舉杯：We drank a toast to innocence. We drank a toast to now. And tried to reach beyond the emptiness but neither one knew how……. We drank a toast to innocence . We drank a toast to time. Reliving in our eloquence another old lang syne'……
這首歌以薩克斯風吹奏的魂斷藍橋為收尾，似乎在為過往舉行一場告別式。
其實我好想把這整首歌的歌詞貼上，不過由於估狗功能強大，對這首歌有興趣的人，請自行查找。

＜後記＞
原本，我打算寫的是失戀五部曲，在 Journey 的 I'll be alright without you之後本來想放 ABBA 的 I've been waiting for you，但是這首歌實在是太冷了，我想就連ABBA迷也不見得聽過這首，於是放棄。
