《January 18th 2005》 THE A380 REVEALED

在1月28號, 全世界矚目又期待已久的Airbus A380
終於正式現身了!! 這台全世界第一架雙層、四排走道
(上下各兩排)、能載310,000 Litres燃油的客機, 新航
(SQ/SIA)將會於2006年年中用於飛 London-Sydney 路線,
並用少於480人的座位設計, 營造出一個另人耳目一新、
舒適又寬徜的客艙環境.

另外, Emirates是全世界第一間航空公司下單訂購A380.
不但為A380注下一針強心劑, 也是目前唯一一間一口氣
買下45架的航空公司. (註: 這是FIRM order,
不是option order.)

在機隊裡已經擁有A330/340的航空公司, 轉移訓練飛A380將
會是個seamless operation, 因為駕駛艙的所有擺設都很一致.

根據空巴的說法是, 如果從A330/340 family轉移, 會比從
非空巴飛機的型號, 節省約25天的訓練!

空巴的新穎設計, 對許多新機師來說, 是能夠減輕許多工作流
程上的負擔的好飛機.

Deutsche Lufthansa (德航):
Deutsche Lufthansa signed a firm contract for the purchase
of 15 A380s in December 2001. The German airline plans to
use the new aircraft on high density routes from its hub in
Germany to cities such as New York, New Delhi, Singapore and
Bangkok.

Lufthansa’s two main hubs, Frankfurt and Munich are getting
ready for the arrival of the A380. In April 2004, Munich became
the first European airport to receive official authorisation
for A380 operations when it received approval from the Bavarian
government. Frankfurt is preparing dedicated A380 stands at
Terminal 1 and a new maintenance base for the A380, to be ready
by 2007. Terminal 2 already has five stands available.

Emirates:
The Sheikh said that in Dubai a new US$4 billion Terminal 3 was
under construction and would be completed in 2006 for the arrival
of the airline first A380.

”Concourses 2 and 3 will have 23 gates specifically designed for
the A380 for twin-deck embarking and disembarking,” he said. ”There
will also be gate lounges able to accommodate more than 500
passengers.”
