於是，今天早上一到辦公室，很開心地對芭芭拉說：「我們看到了!!」兩個女人就很興奮地聊著看火星的心得。聊著聊著我提起：「不知道台灣看不看得到呢?」她說：「嗯，這聽起來是一個Internet的問題。」(同事是個超級崇拜網路的人，覺得什麼疑問internet都可以解答)之後我們就各自回頭工作去，我也沒再多想。

結果，下午兩點左右，她坐在電腦前突然自顧自地笑了起來，對我說：「我要轉寄一封電子郵件給妳，妳可以轉寄給妳爸媽。」....

Taiwan and California are about 9 time zones apart, or three quarters of the way to half way around the globe, so there will be times when it is dark in one place and light in the other at the same time, and times when it is above the horizon in one, but not for the other. Other than that,
yes it will be the same. Mars will appear amongst the same stars in both places.

原來芭芭拉順著火星的相關新聞連結到海軍的天文觀測站(Naval Observatory)，正巧看到有個讓人提供發問的網頁。她隨手寫下"在台灣能不能像我們在加州一樣看到火星"，竟然在三個小時之內就得到了回覆。

所以啦，在台灣的各位，我同事已經為你們問到答案了，大家如果爬得起來，三點鐘時朝著月亮的方向看過去唷~~如果看到得話，記得跟我說一聲，大家互相分享喜悅吧^o^
