Can I ask you something?
「What? 」

When you were little, did you always get what you want from mom and dad by crying?
「I don’t know. Why?」

I have been thinking about it for a long time. I just couldn’t understand why I become teary so easily even I know there’s no need to cry.

Then I thought: is that because I could always get what I want from mom and dad by crying when I was little?

Well, I couldn’t remember what it was like. But is that possible? Especially these days there are many people around us having a baby, and whenever the baby cries, the parents always put down the things on their hands and drift their attention to the baby. Was that the same happen to me so it becomes a habit?

I really have hated it. No one will really care if you are treated unfair. They may sympathize for what you suffer, but once it’s gone, they only remember when you dropped your tears. Just like people talk about a person who has bad temper, “Haha, he definitely will yell and wave his fist again.” They will always shrug their shoulders and say, “Oh, here she comes. She probably will cry again.” I hate it. I neither want people's forgettable sympathy or careless gossip. I don’t want to cheapen my tears.
