Went to Tsingtao with my folks last week for 8 days. Terribly exhausted, mainly because of the long hours spent on bus rides. Six hours from a place to another? No way!! I would pay extra if they offered to go by flight. But, come on, it's a promotional tour, what do you expect, right? =P

Tsingtao is famous for its German style historic buildings, Tsingtao beer of course, and the scenery. I took about 300 pictures while we were there, but most of them were pictures of trees and flowers. Call me "mo liu," but the plants and the greens are my all time favourites. I am never tired of them!! This picture was one of my best pictures taken in Tsingtao, since every other picture I took with my face on was....you know....not so great....=(

We had a chance to visit the Tsingtao Beer Factory, which was famous worldwide for its fresh taste and maybe its cheap price as well. The beer we tasted was freshly brewed and only good for 2 days. Not bad at all!!! Even for non-drinker like me, I loved the taste of the beer over there. :)

Other than the painful bus rides and the Tsingtao scenery, the most memorable thing for this trip is the opportunity to meet people from all over the world! Our tour consisted of people from different backgrounds and countries of origin, which made our trip great and filled with surprises. On the very last night of our 8-day tour, some of us exchanged phone numbers and so on. Imagine that!

For friends who wish to visit Tsingtao, my advise is to visit during Spring or Summer, since there are beautiful cherry blossoms. For friends who wish to see Tsingtao with a $20 budget, I would advise him/her to buy the DVD 戀之風景 by 林嘉欣and 劉燁available at HMV store now. *_-
